Smoggy Sunset in Jakarta

Jakarta was the first stop in Indonesia before meeting my friend in Bali. There my travel mate and I decided to check out all the sites. Usually I look for local locations but since the recent bombings a lot of places were closed off. So we made our way to Jakarta’s crazy insane public transportation to find ourselves at National Monument Park just as the sun was about the set.

We stayed there and relaxed as a lot of the locals were also spending time relaxing in the park. Just as we were leaving I decided to turn around and snap a photo through the haze and red sunset that I have only seen in Los Angeles before.
