One of my favorite holidays is Dia de Los Muertos, a holiday celebrated through out Latin America. It is the day that the dead can cross the veil to communicate with their loved ones. It gives the living a chance to remember and talk to the ones they lost.
One of the biggest traditions during Dia de Los Muertos is a celebration of live with music, usually by a mariachi band. This was taken backstage as a mariachi group was performing through the night during the festivities. The crowd that was gathered was really enjoying the band as the dramatic light beamed down on the band I decided to take pictures of the intricate details that the mariachis wear. Here is the details in one of the mariachi’s pants and boot.
